Who are we, as a people who love God? We waltz through life,
expecting life to be a piece of cake and wanting everything to be easy. Smooth
sailing is something that we are sold on a daily basis, so that is what we
should expect, yea? What the world says goes - the example that we follow and
model our lives after? False truth people and such a bold lie, it is in blatant
opposition to what the entire BIBLE teaches!
Did Jesus have it easy? Did He Float through His life and it was smooth sailing, everything just honky dory & dandy? No, He didn't. He came and He suffered, He came & endured, He came and He agonized and then He died...
Jesus knew that He was going to have it rough, He knew that His journey would be far from easy. And He did it anyways. He loves us, He loved those then, and He loved His Father and wanted to bring Glory and honor to His holy name... No matter how hard He knew the journey would be. He came and He endured...
So what gives me, what gives us the right to ever think that we being a people of God should have it easy!? We shouldn't and we definitely don't deserve it, and it mostly never is - it doesn't matter what the world tries to sell! It's deception; it's a load of crap.
I have been so wrapped up and wanting to give up, just because things are a little rough... Everything seems like it's falling apart, nothing seems "easy" right now & you know what, it isn't and that is ok!!!
Do you want to know why it is ok? Because, I’m not doing it alone, God is walking on this journey with me. Not only that, His word gives promise after promise that God is on my side. He is working all things together for MY good; He has plans for my future and to prosper me. He wants to give me His joy & He wants me to live in His peace!!! He promises that He will help us endure; He will hold us up and keep us accountable... He also makes it clear that in our weakness, He is made stronger and in that He is strong we are also strong...
Wow, how great is our God? How much our God loves us and cares. How awesome it is that our God sympathizes with us in our uneasy lives. I would say, that is One pretty AWESOME God.

if we have the strength;
 yet their span is but
trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away.
